Relaxed living
With room enough to sleep eight guests, this four-bedroom house is a majestic spot to soak in the natural splendour of rural Victoria. Just a stone’s throw from the Great Ocean Road, where rugged coastline is lapped by turquoise seas, there’s lots to do in the surrounding area (more on that here). But we’re happy to say, a meandering week spent at Bluestone Fields alone would feel plenty enthralling enough.
Tranquil dining
After a busy day exploring country Victoria, there’s nothing quite like unwinding with a book or a bottle of wine (or both), gently warmed by a roaring fire. Equally, for a group getaway, you’ll want ample space for everyone to relax in each others’ company. Our farmhouse-style open plan kitchen-dining-living area can adapt to whatever mood you’d like to set.
A double-sided fireplace crafted from stacked stone helps this space instantly feel like home, no matter how far you’ve travelled. On one side, stretch out on leather couches dotted with soft, squidgy throws and cushions. This warm, earthy toned space with hardwood accents is ideal for board games, movie marathons or solving the world’s problems with a good old chinwag.
Or, sink into the snuggle couches on the other side of the fire for a moment of repose after a busy day’s berry-picking.
Farmhouse kitchen
No modern farmhouse would be complete without the heart of the home; the kitchen. With muted grey tiles underfoot, our fully-equipped kitchen can help you prepare culinary creations of all shapes and sizes. You might await the local wildlife with a grazing board for accompaniment out on the patio, or pack a platter for an impromptu picnic to watch the sunset by the dam.
Or there’s plenty of opportunity for more serious cooking, with a six-burner stove, Caeserstone surfaces and European appliances.
Sink into slumber
The Main House is perfectly set up for larger groups, with four separate spacious bedrooms.
Stretch out in majestic luxury in the Master Bedroom’s king-sized bed. Generously sized ‘his and hers’ closets are perfect for a longer stay, as would be idly gazing out on the sweeping views of the garden.
Another bedroom boasts a queen-sized bed and two more are twin bedrooms, all with the same rustic-meets-contemporary soft furnishings and vista of lush green surroundings.
With two bathrooms to choose from, you can opt for a powerful shower, or perhaps, with nowhere to be in a hurry, the bathtub beckons. A stunning jet tub in Bluestone Fields’ master bathroom is the perfect excuse to reach that coveted state of deep, blissful relaxation.
